Several of the Vicksburg/Port Hudson Units are unaccounted for during the spring campaigns of 1864. Does anyone have information on the location of the followoing units during the Spring 1864 Campden Expedition? All of these units were eventullay consolidated into the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Consolidated infantry regiments in the late summer/fall of 1864, but I don't understand what they were doing during the spring campaigns. Were they still in a parole camp? If so where?
