I've collected about a hundred or so pages of documents from the 8th Arkansas Battalion, but very little of it deals with the battalion as a whole. Most of it deals with individual soldiers--discharge papers, receipts for commutation of rations, officer pay receipts, etc., and a fairly large number of documents dealing with the court-martial of Lieut. Col. Batt Jones--although I do have a few requisitions for clothing and forage that concern the entire battalion and/or its companies.
