I think I have concluded that
In Response To: Re: H.L. Wilson ()

the H.L. Wilson that served in Martin's Calvary was no the H.L. Wilson who issued the note in Yellville, Marion County Arkansas.

I believe it to be Henry L Wilson from Dardanelle but I have no proof of that other than the fact I can't find a thing from Marion County. That leads me to believe he did not live in Marion County but on operated a store there although that theory is a little far fetched in itself. If nothing else maybe I can establish that it wasn't the Henry L Wilson from Dardanelle so I can move on elsewhere with my search. At this point, I have no idea where else to look. The Federal and state land records do not show any land ownership for an H.L. Wilson anywhere close to Marion County anywhere near this time period. I went to the Marion County Historical Society in Yellville and found nothing and found nothing on their web site. Really nice web site with a lot of on line data. Nothing about an H.L. Wilson or any name combination thereof.

Any help appreciated.
