Bruce, you mentioned in an earlier posting that the listing of Major A.G. Greenwood as a mustering officer during the 1862 reorganization in Arkansas was a mistake. Could you expound on this? Was it a transcription error? And what exactly was Greenwood’s roll in the Trans-Mississippi? I note in “Confederate Colonels” that you associate him with the 26th Arkansas Infantry. Any clarification is very appreciated. BTW, “Colonels” is a great resource book.
