He would not have been at Pea Ridge, 4th Bn served at New Madrid and Island 10 area throughthe capture. Afterwards that unit would be brigaded with 1st and 2nd Mtd Rifles, 25th Ark, 4th Arkansas and serve in McNair's later Reynolds Bde taking part in battles in Mississippi and finally all the rest with the Army of Tennessee. THe hospital reports sound correct for the time listed for that unit. They were part of the army that defended Jackson Miss when Grant was conducting the Vicksburg campaign. This is just a quick acknowldgement that your info sounds correct. THe records show a W. M Belamy who died January 1862 at Columbus KY also.
