Hello again.
I talked to my little friend Miss Hazel at the nursing home.
She said her daddy was named Robert Anderson Watt.
The family entered Arkansas from Mississippi just prior to her birthday in Nov. of 1918.
So she was Hazel Watt. She married a Gaither probably in Clark County.
Her maternal Civil War grandfather was Jessie Young from Mississippi. He had lost his
leg in some battle.
Does anyone have any ideas? She is trying to write this down for her beloved granddaughter.
Her own children are dead and she depends on her grandchild for support and help.
Miss Hazel realizes that she almost waited too long to do this, but she still wants to know.
