My great grandfather B.F. Howard and his brother G.W, enlisted into the Arkansas 4th Infantry Regiment on Jan 9, 1862 at Dallas, (Polk Co.) Arkansas. G.W. died on June 15, 1862, during the war as a soldier, but I don't know specifics. I have search the internet and couldn't find where the 4th Infantry was on or around the Jun 15, 1862. I know that after the Battle of Pea Ridge, the 4th moved east. Did they fight any other battles in June, 1862 ?
