Does anyone have access to an index of Texas pension records? I am trying to determine if Amos A. Ponder served in an Arkansas unit. The only information I have is that his wife, Eliza Ponder, made application (Pension Number: 09336), possibly from Smith County, TX. I sure would appreciate a lookup. Thanks in advance.
