Compiled Service Records of Confederate Soldiers Who Served in Organizations from the State of Alabama

Note, in 1862, he would have had to enlist for a period of three years or the duration of the war. His discharge in October, 1863 would therefore have to have been for some medical reason, disability, missing a limb, etc.
