Interesting. And also, I think, later one of these guns was sent to General Bowen at Grand Gulf on the Mississippi River. It went by way of the M&O Road to Meridian, transferred to the Southern Rail Road of Mississippi (Changed gauges and cars also I think.) and westward to Big Black River Bridge which is located about a dozen miles Eastward from Vicksburg, Transferred from the Rail Road to a small Steam Boat and down the Big Black River to near Grand Gulf. I found this in the O R I think.
