Re: For Miles Crisman (5th AL Infantry)

To Mr. Crisman and Mr. Martin,

Thank you so much for your prompt reply to my email. This does answer some of my questions but leaves me with several more unanswered ones. I will try to contact Hollywood Cemetery and Oakwood to see if there is any kind of record they may have on him. I may never find the answers I am searching for completely but I can at least say I tried to find out where his grave is located. I sure would love to be able to find where he is buried and have his name, date of birth, and date of death put on his marker. I'm sure he has a marker that is probably marked unknown but what a blessing it would be to be able to link him with his wife and sons and all his family. It would also be great to be able for anyone searching the Wingard ancestry to be able to find his grave.
I appreciate you and the work you do that helps so many other families who lost their loved ones during the Civil War and who may be searching for info on them.
Thank you again for your reply and the information you have given me.
Sincerely,
Linda Wingard Parrish
