Question about the Conscription Act

I have ran across some issues with the Confederate Conscription Act and was wondering if someone could help me in trying to understand it a little more. I am familiar with the 1st Act of April 16, 1862 and ages 18 to 35. As well as the 2nd Act and the 3rd Act passed on February 17, 1864. Those are not the concerns.

My problem is this: If a soldier enlisted at age 45 in May of 1861 for one year according to the 1st Confederate Conscription Act he may have been exempted from conscription because of his age with the 1st Confederate Conscription Act and given a discharge if he so chose to do so after his one year of service.

With the 3rd Confederate Conscription Act on February 17, 1864, it required men between ages 17 and 50 to serve. The soldier who had been discharged in 1862 at age 46 would now have been age 48. Would he have been required to serve once again OR because he received a discharge from the Confederate Military in 1862 yet still been exempted from the 3rd Confederate Conscription Act?
