Deanna --

This company continued to serve independently, as did Capt Holloway's company, often listed as Co K, 3rd Alabama Cavalry Regt.
Rolls for Capt Lenoir's independent company show Wm H Taylor as present through Dec 31, 1863, the last roll on file. His name also appears on a receipt for clothing dated March 9, 1864.

Taylor's horse was appraised as worth $250 when he entered service. He filed for loss of this horse, killed in battle Apr 6, 1862, and was paid accordingly.

Perhaps one of every 10,000 Confederate soldiers has an identified wartime image. I don't know of an image for this man.
