I just used "bing" on my computer and googled W.M. Mc Curdy 42 Alabama Reg. and it popped up that he was on the rolls.
Was listed as W M Mc curdy. He was from Scotland and had a accent so it probable is why some one wrote his name as Mc curda .
I doubt he could write......don't know though. If he could I doubt he had the quality of the writing that I see on his "origional parole" from the Hardies Cav.
I believe this might verify that he was in the 42 Alabama as I heard. I have never been able to
see his name on the rolls before. Wonders the internet brings. Any other info some one has would be appreciated!
