In mid-1862, Phillip D. Roddey had a three company battalion. Roddey's company, the Tishomingo Rangers, was one. I'm pretty sure that R. G. Earle's Calhoun County company was the second. The third is identified as "Captain Lewis' Company." Who was Captain Lewis, and where was his company from? I found a T. H. Lewis and a B. B. Lewis who had companies, but it may have been someone else. Can you help? Zack Waters
