Hello Peg,
I found your info very interesting. My Ggrandmother was
Sarah Lambert Hayles.She was my grandmother's mother. Also
she had a sister, Rosetta, and they were the siblings of
Madison and John D. Lambert. They were the children of
James,Sr. and Nancy(2nd wife). Do you have any info of a
William E. Davis who married Rosetta? He served in the Civil
War. However, I do not know where or what company.
