hi i was looking for any info on a thomas picnkney winters. he was from dade county, georgia. i heard he joined the 6th infantry with his brothers in jackson county, alabama. was wondering if anyone could tell me more about him or why alot of georgia farmers fought for the 6th infantry in alabama. thank so much
