I grew up in Franklin County. When we were voting Democrat,
Winston County was voting Republican. May be reversed now since we vote Republican. There was no love lost for Winston County, however, my Grandfather pastored serveral churches in the county and the people seemed like the rest of us to me. I think they paid a price for what they did that may last to this day. Are there are any four line roads in Winston County now? It wasn't when I was growing up.
