Tue Oct 31 04:26:27 2000

I am searching for information on Hiram GILLILAND or information about the particular company he was with and the battles they went through, or clues to what event caused his death.
Hiram was from Walker Co., AL Hiram Jackson Gilliland fought in the Civil War as a Confederate soldier. He was in the 18th Inf. Co. K. Could also have been in the 58th inf. co. H, at Spanish Fort.

Does anyone know particulars about Spanish Fort?
Hiram died in Mobile, AL in 1865 and was burried on May 10, 1865 in the Confederate Soldiers of AL cemetery, Friends of Magnolia Cem.

Any info that would be helpful will be appreciated. Thank you!!
