Looking for info on the following individuals. All are named on the CSA memorial in Troy.

J.O. Grant, 6th Ala. Co. B (John Oliver)
Hugh Pickett, 6th Ala. Co. B
Corporal Henry Howard Grant, 51st Ala. Calvary, Co. B

Corporal H.A.J. (Augustus) Grant
37th Ala. Inf. Co. F.

I am most particularly interested in Augustus. He died 9/15/1863 and is buried at Old Salem Cemetary in Bullock County. I know the regiment surrendered at Vicksburg and was paroled to Meridian. The following record was found in Troy:

From the Pike County, Alabama's Civil War News:

State of Alabama, Pike County
I hereby certify that my husband died in the confederate service, and that I have received 25 lbs. of salt from the salt agent at Troy, all told
China Grove Beat, Dec 4, 1863 Sarah M. Grant

What I would like to know is, where did Augustus die and did they ship him home to be buried? I have seen his name on the muster roll, but no particulars about him.

I would appreciate any help/info.
