8TH Alabama Cavalry Regt.

Does anyone have access to any muster rolls of the 8TH Ala. Cav. Regt. that are not listed with the National Archives. I am particularly interested in rolls from 1865. Also, does anyone have any information about the disposition of this unit at the end of the war? Did they surrender or disband and where? If they surrendered did most all of the men report for paroles or did many just fade away and go home as many soldiers did in the last days? The reason I'm asking this is that I have noticed several men either did or talked about transferring to this unit from the 40TH Ala. Inf. Regt. particularly in 1864 and 65 and no record has as yet been found by me as to their final disposition.I have checked Broadfoot's Roster and no record of some of them have been found with this unit, but I have no idea of the last muster rolls of the 8TH are on file with the National Archives.
