We are currently building a data-base of Alabama Civil War veterans (and other states' soldiers who are buried in Alabama soil). Thus far, we have information on over 6,000 vets. If you could help us, we need the following information:
name
rank (if any)
unit served
date of birth (if available)
date of death (if available)
place of burial (or erected marker)

We hope to have this information up on the net sometime this fall or winter.
