We propose to have this database up for the free use of anyone interested. Our motivations for this project are:
1. To honor those who gave of themselves during
this tragic period of American History

2. To assist as many people searching for Civil
War era ancestors as we can

At present, we are not sponsored by any organization. This began as an individual research project. However, we are open to any help or support (of a non-financial nature)as offered.
