I recently found my gggreatgrandfathers listing among the
pension aplications for Union veterans. He is shown as serving in the "B 2 US Vol Inf" in the state of Alabama. Is this the same Co. B 2nd
Battalion that you are talking about? I am new to this and
don't know all what all of the abreviations stand for.
