The notes I have for Weaver are:

1st Lt. W. M. Weaver is relieved from duty as acting Ordnance officer of Wilson’s Brigade…. Jan. 15, 1864. Assigned Nov. 21, 1863.

1st Lt. W. M. Weaver commanding, request for stationary for Capt. A. A. Hull’s Co., Atlanta GA 10-05-63.

On another subject, the odds of having another man from Selma with the exact same name and about the same age are quite remote. When you take into consideration that both were wealthy (remember 1st Sgt. Weaver of Goldsby's Co. had enough cash to hire a substitute), they become astronomical. I wouldn't believe there were two Wm M. Weavers of the same age in Selma if I found two on the census!
