Curosity finally set in. I have an old sword of which was passed down by my grandmother. I am trying to find some information on the name inscribed on it,.a Lieut. J.S. Pearce. I know nothing else.
I don't know where he fought, on which side or when. I don't know how to begin to look for this info.I could possibly be interested in his geneology if any relatives may exist.
