Thanks Jim. My ancestor is H.J. Sims, aka Simms, full name is Henry Jackson Sims from the Intercourse Division census area, now called Scratch Hill at his property. He lived 5 miles south of York at a crossroads. He lived near James M. Sims and a Jesse H. Sims, both of whom "disappeared" during or before the War. All three were in the 1850 census-James was in what is now Choctaw Co.
