Confederate Veteran Magazine and Beverly Pierce

Just curious, but does anyone know if material from the Confederate Veteran Magazine still survives? I know that the magazine began publication in 1893 and continued through 1932. There must have been a lot of "files" generated through the magazine's 40 years, including original manuscripts (some published, others not?), photographs, news announcements, correspondence, etc. Has any of this "stuff" been archived anywhere or is it still available?

Specifically looking for a diary, or part of one, belonging to Beverly B. Pierce, 11th AL Infantry, Co. "C". Here's a notice published in v.2 (1894) of the Confederate Veteran:

Dr. Thomas W. Pierce, of Knoxville, Ala.,[father?] favors the Veteran with a diary that has had an eventful history. Upon the outside cover were the words: "A Rebel's Diary, taken from a captured train at the battle of Sailor's Creek, April 6, 1865, by E. F. Hayes, a member of the One Hundred and Twentieth New York Volunteers." It belonged to Beverly B. Pierce, with headquarters Wilcox Brigade, and was bought December 5, 1863. Mr. Pierce was in the quartermaster's department. his record began January 1, 1864, and continued just six months. "As the month of June closes to-day, and I have written this book through, I think I had better close."

Part of his [Beverly B. Pierce's] diary "could" be in the Confederate Veteran archives (if there are any). Does anyone know about this diary or have any information on Pierce?
