I am searching for Robert,Lewis and William Atwell.These men lived in Lauderdale co. Alabama.William Q. Hill has them listed as Confederates in his book "A History Of Green Hill Alabama".He said that there was so many men that served from this area in the 16th Alabama Infantry especially in company C.I am trying to confirm if the William Atwell listed with Robert and Lewis is my g/grandfather,William Henry Atwell. If so ,then all three of these men are brothers.They are the sons of Jacob Harden and Temperance Ann Hill Atwell from Lauderdale co. Alabama. Hopefully someone can help me out there.
