Steven,
In my initial response, forgot to mention
Co A of the 25th Ala Inf; they were the
"Andalusia Beauregards", made-up partly of
those from Coffee County; also, a number
from Covington served w/ the 1st Fla Cav
Rgt, US Volunteers; there were also a great
many served in Co E, 15th Confderate Cav.

These are the reserve/militia units I'm aware
of, there were probably more:

60th Rgt, Ala Miltia; organized in 1848 but
was still active during the WBTS.

Andalusia Volunteers; a militia co, organized
in Jul 1860, it too was still active in the
war under the command of Capt James T. Cumbie.

Covington County Reserves (First Class) co's
A, B and C; Aug 1864.

Covington County Militia (Second Class) aka
Capt J.T. Brady's Mtd Militia Co; organized
in Aug 1864.

4th Rgt, Ala Volunteer Militia under Capt
Hiram Gantt.

Co I, 4th Rgt (Senior) Reserves; organized
after Feb 1864; mostly from Covington, but
a few from Barbour and Dale; all were in
their mid to late 40's under Capt John G.
Adkison.
