Hello List,

It may surprise folk on the over side of the pond, but there is a
American Civil War Roundtable Group here in the UK. And of course
there are many visits made to the battlefields by UK folk.

I am seeking some line to research to make an article to go into our
magazine 'Crossfire'.

I am considering therefore trying to find out about British men that
fought on either side in the Civil War.
I know that work has been done on the Irish Brigade, but is there
anything on the English, Scots or Welsh.

Just looking for ideas at this stage to fill the pages of our
occasional magazine.
