INDEX OF CIVIL WAR NAVAL FORCES - UNION SHIPS

United States Navy
Individual Ships
As an aid in researching individual ships, consider one of more of the collective sources listed on the main Naval Forces page. When using Google or other internet search engines, remember that ship's names often use common terms. Searching for "Minnesota" will pull up a lot of information about the state, so be sure to add other search qualifiers, such as "USS" or "ship" or something similar. As a matter of course, I DO NOT include articles from Wikipedia, but their web pages will be included in your internet search results.
