Just wanted to let you know about my progress.

1Benjamin West enlisted on March 8th 1862 at Glouecester Virginia
2 Before the war he served in the 21st Virginia militia
3 He was born in 1844
4 Got Marliria in Florida but lived
5 In 1880 he had a wife named Nancy a son named George and a daghter named Noria
he was a waterman and a farmer
6 His wife "Keeping house"
7 I think he may be buried at Beula Baptist Chirch wich was once headed by Chaplin Edward Wyatt
8 He was marked AWOL Feb 1865 because he over stayed his foulugh
9 Benjamin got a confederate veteran's pension in 1906 or 1907
