Bryce, I show W.T. Lawrence as being with the 5th Virginia Cavalry in fact he was the chief bugler for the regiment. I agree with you that this unit was in the Shenandoah Valley as Lawrence's horse was listed as being killed in the Shenandoah in 1864.
