The Virginia in the Civil War Message Board

Re: 50th Virginia Infantry Co E

I recently found my Great Great Grandfather's 1900 Virginia Civil War pension application. On the form, he indicated that he was in Co E, 50th Va Infantry. He was discharged in 1864 at Richmond due to a wound that resulted in spinal troubles that evidently disabled him for the rest of his life. His name was Thomas A. Harris. Could anyone give me any clues of further places to look for information on him? Thanks Doug K.
