Would anyone have any detailed information on the placement of the La. Regiments in Staffords La. Brigade at 2nd Manassas. I have oftened wondered if my ancestor was envolved with the "rock throwing" when Staffords brigade ran out of ammunition. My ancestor was wounded in that battle. At the time, he was a Lt. Joseph H. Dale, Co. I, 15th La. Inf. Any information or thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated....Dr. Michael Dale
