Hello - I am a decendent of John S. Hutchinson. My maternal grandmother, Grace Hutchinson Carter, was J.S. Hutchinson's grandaughter. According the records that I have, Mr. Martin is correct regarding his history as Confederate soldier. I do not have much information to add. I would appreciate any additional information. Thank you.
