i had a gg grandfather that served in th3 51st va from 61 untill her was captured at waynesboro and sent to fort deleware untill the end of the war. I have been able to find records from fort deleware and his pay reciepts (some) but I am wondering if there is a way to find out if he was wounded,or anything else about his service. I am new at this and am not quite sure how to go about it. I am also looking for a roster list for the 4th va and cannot find one.
