George Washington Musser-23rd Battn. or 29th Regt.

Need proper ID on George Washington Musser. On Find A Grave.com there is listed a George Washington Musser buried in Smyth Co.,Va. There is a "flower memorial" saying he served as Capt.,Co.B,29th Va.Inf.Regt. and was one of the "Immortal 600". The source listed was "Biographical Register of the Immortal 600". He is listed as died 2/7/1925. In Va. pension records (soldier's and widow's)there is a man of same name listed as died same date and served as enlisted man in Co.F,23rd Va.Inf.Battn.-WIA,New Market,Va.,1864 and no further record. Some soldiers in 29th Va.Inf. and 23rd Va.Inf.Battn. came from the same area in SW Va. Could these two men be one and the same?
