The following men, found in your Rootsweb database, served in the 151st Virginia Militia. This unit was in active service from August to October 1861 under General Augustus A. Chapman. The brigade commanded by Chapman was part of a larger force under R. E. Lee.

TRINKLE, JACOB STEPHEN --- Private, Company C, 151st Virginia Militia, enlisted on 8/21/1861 at Princeton, Mercer County, [West] Virginia.

DUDLEY, WARHAM STEVENS --- Private, Company D, 151st Virginia Militia, enlisted on 8/21/1861 at Princeton, Mercer County, [West] Virginia.
