To those that responded to my post back in July about copies of Confederate Veteran Magazine, I'm sorry for not responding sooner. My computer craped out on me, and I'm finally getting back online.

I'm looking for a few articles that talk about the Attack on Fort Harrison and Fort Gilmer. The articles I'm looking for are:

Also, if anyone can provide any other resources for this battle I'd really appreciate it. I've been looking for any information on the 1st Battalion Virginia Reserves. Their commanding officer Col. RTW Duke wrote an article for Confederate Veteran Magazine, but other than that, there is little other info that I have been able to find. Several websites mention that they were involved in the Battle of Sayler's Creek, but I haven't been able to find any additional information. The only ofther info I was able to find is mention of them in "Henrico County Field of Honor Vol II".
