From The American Civil War Research Database, I found this unit's roster. Can anyone tell me who the private named D. Cooper was? My husband's great-great grandfather, David Cooper, lived in Mt. Falls, Frederick County, Virginia. A quick scan of the 1860 census turned up no other males with the last name Cooper and first initial "D." I would just like to confirm that D. Cooper is indeed David Cooper of Mt. Falls.
