Prison of War: taken at the Battle of Antietam;
Paroled: Oct 5, 1862.

Hospitalized at Chimborazo Hospital,CSA on Oct 12, 1862, for gunshot wound in the leg and died from a disease (unknown) on NOV 13,1863.

Home: Byhalia Mississippi in Marshall County.

Parents: Barnett Hardy, b. Mar. 15, 1804, d. Feb. 12, 1879
Winnifred Reeves, b. July 17, 1807, d. Feb. 29, 1888.
