Massachusetts soldiers

My relative was in the E14, Massachusetts Infantry and E and G1, Massachusetts Heavy Artillery, he enlisted and was mustered on July 5th, 1861. On the 19th May, 1864 [by then a Captain], he was wounded at Spottsylvania, VA, on the 20th May, 1864 he died of his wounds. I have ]2] questions, I can find no burial record for him I am sure he was buried at Spottsylvania, but where???
I have already applied for his pension records with the reference no's I have - his wife died in 1863, leaving a dependent child, who went to live with his Grandparent's, but was told by NARA they could not find a record, What do I do????
Any help on these matters would be most greatfully accepted.

With Thanks
Gail Blanch
