Albert Reed was born about 1836 in Niles, Berrien County, Michigan. His home in 1850 was Division 10, Berrien , Michigan, in 1860 he was still in the same place, at age 24 he is listed in census as a day laborer , married to Nancy Reed, her maiden name was Hanover, they may have had more than 2 children but the ones I am aware of were Newton Reed and Ellen Josephine Reed, both children born in Niles Michigan, Albert apparently died in Libby Prison , but I have been unsuccessful in locating any concrete proof that he did die there , much less a death date, need help finding out this information, will appreciate any lookups,
