Correction:
I found out thru the Jefferson Davis Project at Rice University that to thier knowledge there was NOT an Inaugural Ball. The Davises had a reception at the Executive Mansion on the evening of Feb. 22 from 8 to 11 pm. Now if anyone has information on the attendees? This would be of help.
