Miss L.W.Elliott

I collect CSA treasury notes and reciently purchased a Feb.17,1864 issue of the $100.00 note T-65 as it is known to collectors. Anyway the reason I purchased was because it is signed L.W.Elliott for register.Of course my surname being the same.Rapheal Thians,pub.1880, work Register of Confederate Debt. list the signature as Miss L.W.Elliott.I was curious as these bills were signed in Richmond if by chance she was related to Lt.Col.W.M.Elliott, 25th Battalion,VA.Vols. the City Provost Battalion.Perhaps better known as Richmond City Battalion.Maybe his wife or a daughter. Thanks,Michael P.Elliott
