Promos: corporal, sergeant, 2nd Louie 8/31/64 (Company H), 1st Lt (not mustered). WIA 9/19/64 Winchester, VA. They include a photo of him; not sure of the rank, I cannot see shoulder straps, but, by then, he may have been wearing the less-obvious shoulder pins.
