George, I don’t know what to tell you. I am familiar with the camp, but not that reunion. It’s an interesting group though- I believe Sloss is the same man who was one of the founders of the Alabama iron industry. I don’t know why so many men were honored that late after the war. I did not see any from Athens or Limestone County (my ancestors home). What kind of research are you doing? Are you trying to verify the men and their units?
