Charles Benger, Private,* Company F, 30th Georgia Infantry, enlisted October 12, 1862 in Chatham County, Ga. for the war, recorded on the Sep/Oct, 1862 as mustered as Musician by consent of his master, recorded absent, sick at the end of year 1862 muster, no further records

Note, there are no subsequent Company F muster rolls which preclude knowledge of his later service
